Welcome to our first instalment of our mini-series. We'll be exploring what we love about all the speciality coffee shops that we visit. Celebrating the awesomeness behind each one, from the people that work there to the coffee they serve.
In this first post of the mini-series, we visited a new coffee shop, Coffee + Beer. Situated just off Whiteladies Road, you'll find this hidden gem, where you'll meet the owner, Dan. Having previously owned a successful cafè in Oxford, Dan has used his experience in hospitality to create this unique space to buy speciality coffee and craft beer, a first for Bristol.
One of the main things we love is Dan's clear vision for his coffee shop, which is to educate people who aren't familiar with the speciality industry, whether it be coffee or craft beer. By presenting the coffee in an easy to understand manner, where the customer can try the difference between each coffee before they buy them, his hope is to get people to start their journey and choose to buy speciality rather than buying from a supermarket.
With an impressive six coffees on display, you certainly won't be stuck for choice. Perfect for the coffee lover or someone who just wants to learn more. Dan stocks local roasters such as Triple Co Roast, Roundhill, Extract and much more.
Below we have included a map where you can find Coffee + Beer, we'd highly recommend you pop down there and let Dan brew you up some coffee.
Opening Times - Mon-Sat 8am-7pm - Mon-Sat and Sun 10am-4pm.
